For 2026, eligible applicants for the JT Visbal Scholarship Program must be invited to apply. Application and submission details are included below for eligible applicants.
Program Requirements and Eligibility
All Applicants must be active FTIE members for at least two years and are required to submit:
- Application
- Essay Questions
- Two Letters of Recommendation
There is a minimum requirement of a 2.5 GPA and students must maintain full-time academic status.
How to Apply
The application is linked at the bottom of this page. Applicants have the option to complete the application all at once or save their progress and continue later.
Applicants who choose to save their progress can enter an email address to receive a link to resume the application later. The link expires after 30 days.
Applicants can upload attachments in the application as necessary.
When finished, please click the “Submit Application” button.
Application and Review Timeline
February 1: Application Opens
March 31: Application Closes
April 1-30: Scholarship Committee Reviews Applications
May 1: Recipient Announced
