First Tee — Inland Empire has several ways you can support us. Sponsor and/or play in one of our annual events: Temecula Valley Charity Classic or the Dave Stockton/FTIE Annual Fundraiser. Sponsor one of our programs: Girls Golf, JT Visbal College Scholarship Program, golf scholarships, or our in-house tournaments and play days. Your support will help us make an even bigger impact in our community.
Programs to Support
First Tee (Unrestricted Funds)
First Tee — Inland Empire impacts over 37,000 children and individuals and over 35,000 participate free of charge each year.
LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Program
LPGA*USGA Girls Golf (Girls Golf) is the only junior golf program for girls that specializes in providing girl-friendly environments to learn the game of golf. The program is designed to empower girls ages 6-17 with confidence and teach them valuable life skills through the game of golf. By sponsoring this program, your funds will be used to support girls golf programming, financial assistance and scholarships, and special events.
JT Visbal Scholarship Program
Named in honor of First Tee — Inland Empire’s Co-Founder, the JT Visbal Scholarship Program is designed to help youth continue their post-secondary education. By sponsoring this program, you’ll be able to help ensure that our participants have access to educational opportunities once they age out of our program.
Tournaments and Play Days
FTIE hosts its own play days and tournaments to give kids more experience on the course. Friendly competitions take place every few months for the entire chapter. We call these “play days.” Advanced tournament offerings are held quarterly for the best players in our chapter. These include our own in-house tournaments and tournaments where our kids compete against kids from other local First Tee chapters. By sponsoring this program, you will receive exclusive naming rights on all in-house tournaments and play days and be able to financially support kids competing at the inter-chapter level.

Events to Support
4th Annual Temecula Valley Charity Classic
The Temecula Valley Charity Classic directly benefits our growth and expansion in the Temecula Valley region. Since 2021, First Tee – Inland Empire has brought its programs to six locations across the Temecula Valley, delivering over 400 classes annually and impacting more than 500 kids each year.
This year’s tournament will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026 at Bear Creek GC in Murrieta. 9th Annual Dave Stockton/FTIE Golf Tournament
The Dave Stockton/First Tee – Inland Empire Annual Golf Tournament is one of our most beloved traditions, bringing together golf enthusiasts and community supporters for a shared purpose — giving kids the opportunity to discover the game and the life lessons that come with it. Now in its 9th year, this tournament has grown into a cornerstone event for our organization, raising critical funds that allow us to serve more young people across Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
For nearly a decade, the two-time major winner and 1991 Ryder Cup champion has partnered with First Tee — Inland Empire to benefit thousands of kids through the game of golf. From hosting play days for our kids at Redlands Country Club to holding a putting clinic before every annual tournament, Dave’s commitment to our mission goes far beyond the golf course.
